DUP East Londonderry Westminster candidate Gregory Campbell has called on Jeremy Corbyn to categorically condemn the Birmingham pub bombings.
DUP Spokesman on International Development and Cabinet Office
Mr Campbell said,
“On this day forty-five years ago, the PIRA murdered twenty-one people and injured over two hundred civilians when they detonated a series of bombs.
Jeremy Corbyn was in Birmingham today to launch his manifesto. He referenced the bombings in his speech but failed to categorically condemn the Provisional IRA atrocity.
Everyone is well aware of his sympathies for Irish Republicanism but surely even Corbyn can condemn this calculated assault on innocent life.”
