Partners in the Belfast Region City Deal have submitted their negotiating position to the Secretary of State aimed at securing £1billion of investment.
The North Belfast MP said, “The Confidence and Supply agreement ensured the Government’s commitment towards delivering city deals in Northern Ireland. Since that agreement was signed in June 2017 we have seen real progress in both Belfast and Londonderry, with the Belfast Region partners outlining plans to focus on four key investment pillars in their negotiating position.
The Confidence and Supply agreement has delivered for people right across the United Kingdom and particularly for vital public services in Northern Ireland. The positive developments on city deals is the latest example of how DUP influence at Westminster is delivering for everyone.”
